ABOUT ME

MY NAME IS KAI PAREL-SEWELL

I’m a photographer, graphic designer, and architecture student at Cal Poly, SLO.

I grew up with visual arts. My mother, a photojournalist, gave me my first camera when I was five. At the same time, I started learning how to draw from my father, an architect.

In high school, I served as Chief Photographer and Photo Editor of the Valhalla Ragnarök Yearbook, which won Best in Show at the San Diego County Fair.

I enjoy photojournalism, events, sports, landscape, portrait, architectural, and automotive photography.
I'm creative, curious, and passionate about photography, design, learning, and exploring everything.

Kai is a stand-out photographer who goes above and beyond to get the best angle and lighting for each shot. Having a photographer as talented and creative as Kai … made jaws drop to anyone who opened to a page featuring his photography. His ability to get quality shots that evoke emotion and passion is something to be treasured.
